Skid plate designed and manufactured by ACD Racing Parts to perfectly match the KTM 790 R/S Adventure model year 2019-2021 motorcycles. This skidplate brings high levels of protection to the engine and the fuel tank, preventing damages from stones, shocks and crashes during intensive use.
Materials and durability. Skid plate is made of 4 mm (0.16 inches) thickness strong and light aluminium alloy with state of the art beautiful welding. Items are carefully reworked to avoid sharp edges. As all ACD Racing Parts skid plates, this skid plate is intense competition grade but fits perfectly for leisure off-road motorcycle use.
Special neoprene foams. Includes special 10 mm neoprene foam between the bash plate and the cover of the engine and 5 mm neoprene foam between the lateral part of the plate and the tank. Is made to soften the shocks, to avoid the damage of the bike after serious impacts and to avoid the vibrations.
Easy to install / uninstall the plate. Just four mounting points make it easy to fit the skid plate to the bike. Attach the protection in less than 5 minutes with hardware included. Mounting points are same as original OEM KTM skid plate, but the holes are reworked to avoid the head of the bolt being damaged in case of impact of the stone or any other object. Skid plate mounts around original plastic protection, so there is no need to remove it. Dismount it in <5 min easily for quick engine maintenance.
